Phew! Lagos can be unpredictable when it comes to traffic situation , It was a Sunday and the roads are usually not as busy on weekends as it is weekdays. but there was a lot of traffic. When I eventually got there, a number of the activities had been carried out. However, I used the time I had left at the beach to have some fun.
I went to Lekki Leisure beach to attend the first annual Nigeria Tourism Lovers hangout. It is an initiative started up by Mr. Ibrahim Makanjuola (IBM). We have a WhatsApp group where we share ideas, tips, information, tours, virtual hangouts etc. and recently the first physical hangout.

I went for the hangout after church service on Sunday.

Also, please do not put Lekki leisure lake on the map, but Lekki Lesiure beach, I put Lekki leisure lake and the map was directing to somewhere in Ojodu instead of directing to Lekki.
I met a number of different groups of people having different events at the beach.
They sell food there and external food is not allowed inside. We ate external food, but we had to sit outside to eat it. Maybe on a next visit, I might try something on their menu.
